quality garages. We have single car garages that range from 12' x 20' up
to 14' x 44'. We also Build custom garages of any size, Just submit your
ideas and/or drawing and we will supply you with your final investment
costs.
Garage Specifications-
Our garages have the same
specifications as our other storage buildings except these garages have
a heavier floor. The floors are constructed with pressure treated joist
spaced every 12". The floor is sheeted with 3/4" pressure treated
plywood. The floors of garages are designed to withstand daily use of
cars and pickups. Wood floors are especially idea for long term storage
of classical cars. Tires will not rot as quickly on wood as on concrete
floors. |

Standard Features of Garages- Our standard package
for garages include two 9' x 7' metal overhead garage door with windows, a
wooden side door, two 30" x 36" Jalousie windows (crank out windows),
and heavy duty garage floor as specified above.
Options for Garages- All
options for storage sheds are also available for garages. The most
popular options are metal side doors, ridge vents, and workbenches

Specs for Garages
At North Country Storage Barns, we use only quality materials. Below are
the specifications for our garages:
- The foundation is pressure treated 4 x 4 running the
length of the building. 6' wide buildings have two 4 x
4' running the length of the building. 8' wide buildings
have three 4 x 4's running the length of the building.
10-14' wide buildings have five 4 x 4's running the
length of buildings.
- Side walls are constructed out of 2 x 4 studs spaced
16" on center.
- Side walls are sheeted with dura-temp plywood (also
known as T-1 11) Dura-temp is painted with high quality
paint designed especially for the storage shed industry.
Paint is available in 12 colors.
- 2 x 4 rafters are spaced every 16". Roof is sheeted
with 1/2" 4-ply plywood.
- Roof is shingled with 20 year asphalt shingles
available in black, green, brown, cedar, gray, and
white.
- Doors are constructed out of 2 x 4 frames.
- 1" x 3" trim is used on exterior.
- Pressure treated joist are placed every 12" and
sheeted with 3/4" pressure treated plywood.
